Comfrey Leaf

Comfrey is an amazing herb that can be used in many different cosmetic applications. It can soothe and calm irritated skin, and  it also contains allantoin, a substance that helps new skin cells grow. This makes it an awesome addition for use in products intended for mature and aging skin, as well as ointments, salves and balms.

To get the most out of your Comfrey, we suggest using it to create infused oils, which can then be incorporated into your skin care products! Choose oils with a long shelf life, like avocado or MCT. We also suggest using a warm oil infusion, rather than a cold process, and muddling the herb to help release it's constituents.
