In an effort to support the practice of hand washing during this time of viral outbreak we are offering FREE bars of soap, with the lowest cost I can estimate for domestic shipping—$3.50. I’m sure I’ll actually lose some money on this deal, but I feel like it’s far more important that people realize the importance of hand washing.
Soap molecules are amphiphilic—meaning they are attracted to water on one end, and lipids on the other. This allows the amazing little molecule to disrupt and break the cellular structure of viruses. Soap doesn’t require special chemicals to do this. It doesn’t introduce foreign or synthetic substances into our water supply.
Proper hand washing with soap has been found to be MORE EFFECTIVE against bacteria and viruses than antibacterial wipes and hand sanitizers.
THESE SOAPS WILL BE UGLY, DENTED, FLOPS, and FLUB-UPS... These are from the donation bin that I generally give to the County Hospital for their health fair. They won’t be pretty and many have lost their scent as they have sat jumbled together. But they are still made with quality ingredients, and they will still be free!
