La lufa (o también deletreada Loofah) es una calabaza fibrosa excelente para exfoliar y limpiar la piel. Son de crecimiento vigoroso, prefieren climas cálidos en las zonas de resistencia 7-13. Originarias del sur y sureste de Asia, ¡estas enredaderas pueden crecer de 9 a 15 metros!
