Vegetable Glycerin

So there I was one day, when, for no good reason that I can now recall, I decided to buy 60 lbs of glycerin. What was I planning on doing with all that glycerin? 

I don't know. I was hoping maybe you would know!

Just kidding, I do know! I was making glycerites, which is a pretty fun side quest if you're interested in going down a weird rabbit hole. Alas, my passion for glycerin infused syrups has waned and now I have all this... glycerin?

Glycerin is a water soluble, natural by-product of soap making. It can be extracted and then used in all manner of interesting projects. As a humectant, it helps draw moisture to the skin and is used in everything from bubble bath to lotion.
